MEX TIT BITS

You will need a set (four) of double pointed needles to knit this pattern. Size 3 %. NS

5), or size 4 (US 6) will work depending on the weight of your yarn.

Cast on 3 stirches

Move stitches across needle to other end and pull wool to back, Knit 3 stitches.

Repeat this row 4 times on large needle (size 6) and 5 times on small needles (size 5)

You will have three stitches on needle, and yorn work witl appear'cord like'.

Using I't needle- knit into front & back of first stitch, repeat with each of the other two

stitches and two needles.

**(knitting into the front and back of stitches makes one stitch).**

You should end up with turo stitches on each of three needles.

Using 46 needle-increase one stitch by knitting into the front and back of the first stitch.

Knit one stitch.

Repeat using second and third needles.

You should now have 3 stitches on each needle

Next round and following rounds

KMT: all rounds remembering to increase one stitch on each needle by knitting into

the front and back of the next to last stiteh

Continue until you have the required number of stitches for:

Size A 22 stitches on each needle

Size B 24 stitches on each needle

Size C 28 stitches on each needle

Size D 30 stitches on each needle

Size DD 32 stitches on each needle

Purl 2 rounds

Purl 2 rounds - decreasing 1 stitch at the beginning and end of each needle

** This means a total decrease of 12 stitches over the two rounds**

Retum to knitting every round decreasing one stitch on each needle by knitting to last 3

Continue until you have 4 stitches on each ofthe three needles.

Cut off lSinches or more of wool-use large daming needle thread wool through stitches

to bring it all together. Leave hole open, this willbe used to filI *Tit Bif'with fiber fill.
