Fitting Rooms & Fitters
The fitters and runners are responsible for making sure that each lady is correctly fitted with bras and prostheses.
Storeroom & Bra Sorting
This department handles the sorting and sizing of all the Clinic donations. This department also distributes the bras and prosthesis to the Fitters during the clinic.
Free Store
There is a free store where the ladies can choose from a wide assortment of clothes, bras and other items given to the Cancer de Mama Clinic.
Sewing Group
The sewing group looks after converting the regular bras into prosthetic bras. At times they also sew headgear for the Cancer de Mama recipients.
Kitchen Duties
Each person attending the Cancer de Mama clinic is given a healthy meal while they wait for their turn in the fitting room or for their fitted bras to be adjusted by the sewers.
Hat Shack
The Hat Shack ladies look after the wigs, hats and scarves for the Cancer Clinic ladies. They also take time to assist the ladies with make-up whenever possible.
Tit Bits are hand knitted breasts that are then stuffed with filling, by many volunteers. They are used as lightweight, cooler prosthesis.
Spreadsheets & Data Collection
We use spreadsheets and data collection to track our supplies and to monitor the donations given to the clinic recipients.
ATV’s & People Movers
The ATV’s and people movers are used for anyone requiring help in walking up the hill to the Clinic Staging area.
Van Drivers
Our van drivers transport the ladies from the bus parking area to the Cancer de Mama Clinic.
